LUTRONIC Clarity II™ laser

hair removal

  • Laser hair removal is a non-surgical, non-invasive method of removing unwanted hair.

A laser beam travels through the skin and is attracted to the pigment in the hair. The energy then flows to the hair follicle growth cells to inhibit further hair growth.

  • Starting at $70.

pigmented lesions

  • Veins and vascular lesions are treated with selective photo-thermolysis.

Using a specific laser wavelength, the vessel is targeted and the energy is absorbed by the hemoglobin within. This breaks up any coagulated blood, to reduce or eliminate the vascular lesion(s).

  • Starting at $50

A complimentary consultation for vascular lesions is required prior to treatment, to assess suitability and customize a treatment plan just for you and your specific needs.

vascular lesions

  • Pigmentation and pigmented lesions are treated by targeting excessive melanin.

The laser passes through the skin, attracted to the melanin causing the pigmentation. which is heated and damaged by the laser energy.

As your body works to heal the damage, the melanin will darken temporarily and then lift as the cells turnover.

  • Starting at $50

A complimentary consultation for pigmented lesions is required prior to treatment, to assess suitability and customize a treatment plan just for you and your specific needs.

What Makes Clarity II™ superior

  • Older lasers use single-wavelength technology, limiting their ability to treat many factors
and risking patient safety if used outside of their capabilities.

Clarity II™ uses a combination of two wavelengths:

Long pulse 755 nm alexandrite and 1064 nm Nd:YAG

This dual-wavelength technology allows a wider range of treatability.

Clarity II™ allows the practitioner to select the wavelength and intensity to customize the treatment
and maximize results for each individual while also protecting their skin from unnecessary damage.

  • Older lasers are not suitable for use on dark skin due to their single-wavelength technology, which is more likely
to cause damage to the skin cells surrounding the treatment area, and risk discolouration of the skin.

The dual-wavelength combination of Clarity II™ is much safer for all skin types, and especially for darker skin tones,
as it allows the practitioner to customize the wavelength and intensity for each individual’s skin type and tone.

Clarity II™ also uses Real-Time Temperature Sensing to safeguard against overheating damage to the skin,
which is especially important with darker skin tones.

  • Clarity II™ can effectively treat a wider range of hair colours than other lasers.

Older lasers can only treat dark brown or black hair on fair skin, which means they are not suitable for a lot of individuals.

With its industry-leading technology, Clarity II™ can treat a much wider range of hair and skin tones,
and its exclusive shorter pulse widths provide greater efficacy for finer hair removal.

As long as the hair on the treatment area is darker than the surrounding skin, it can be treated!

  • Laser treatments with older lasers are notoriously painful.

Clarity II™ employs an advanced cryogenic cooling mechanism which makes treatments feel painless. *

Each laser pass is made more comfortable by the emission of a cryogenic spray that provides instant cooling of the skin.

This rapid and well-controlled cooldown also adds an extra level of safety when treating dark skin.

Only Clarity II™ provides Real-Time Temperature Sensing which allows the practitioner to gauge that the client’s skin is kept within
a safe temperature range throughout the treatment, minimizing pain and the possibility of damage to the skin.

*Generally, Clarity II™ is more comfortable when compared to other lasers, but keep in mind that everyone is different,
with varying skin and hair types, as well as pain/sensation perception and tolerance.

If it any point you experience pain during your treatment notify your practitioner immediately.

  • Clarity II™ can completely treat an area in significantly less time than other lasers.

The customizable diameter of the laser is adjustable to the ideal treatment spot size.

With areas such as the legs, chest, and back, a larger spot size can be used to treat a larger area at once,
with fewer laser passes. This allows for faster, more convenient appointments.

Clarity II™ laser hair removal is much faster than older types of lasers and fewer treatments are usually needed to achieve desired results.

Clarity II™ uses a unique IntelliTrak™ technology designed to precisely deliver pulses with a safe overlap of areas.
Unlike traditional and imprecise freehand stamping techniques, this allows the practitioner to ensure complete
and consistent coverage of the treatment area, while also achieving a faster treatment speed.

With its many proprietary and advanced technologies, Clarity II™ is able to provide faster and more complete hair removal than
older techniques, and often sees patients who are satisfied with the results after as few 3 to 4 hair removal treatments. *

    * As everyone’s skin and hair responds differently, no guarantees can be made as to the number of treatments that each client or area will require.

  • The brand-new, FDA-approved, Clarity II is a high-powered, dual-wavelength platform of 755 nm Alexandrite laser with a 1064 nm Nd: YAG laser.

These combined wavelengths deliver faster and more effective treatments for a wider range of clients of all skin types. It has a Revolutionary IntelliTrak™ technology for efficacious coverage & Temperature Sensing for additional safety.

  • Laser hair removal procedures impair the growth of hair follicles when they are in the growth cycle at the time of the procedure. There are three phases in a person’s hair growth cycle: Anagen, Catagen, and Telogen. Most clients need an average of 4-8 treatments in intervals of every 4 to 8 weeks, providing up to 80% permanent hair reduction.

Vascular & Pigmented lesions will vary depending on the specific type of lesion(s), and each individual’s skin.

Many factors can impact the number of treatments that will be necessary, including each individual’s skin and hair type, and unique known and unknown conditions that may impact responsiveness. Because of this, no guarantees can be made as to the number of treatments each area or client will need.

  • Some clients may feel a slight discomfort with each laser pulse. This discomfort resolves quickly and is minimized by Lutronic’s Cryo ICD, or cooling system, which delivers cold air exactly over the laser treatment area.

  • Side effects are rare, and may include redness, swelling, hyperpigmentation, hypopigmentation, blistering and purpura (a laser bruise) in the treated area - these usually do not last more than a few days.

  • Clients should avoid plucking, waxing, or electrolysis for 4-6 weeks prior to treatment. Skin should be clean-shaven and thoroughly cleansed, removing any makeup, creams, oils, topical anesthetics, or self-tanning products before treatment. Avoid skin care products with irritants such as Glycolic Acid or Retin-A on the treatment area for about a week prior to and post-treatment. Do not expose the intended treatment area to sunlight or tanning booth light prior to or immediately after treatment.

Full details on Info & Care surrounding each treatment can be found on the specific treatment’s page, and will also be sent to you with your Appointment Confirmation.

  • A cool compress or aloe vera may be applied for comfort following your treatment. Clients can resume daily activities immediately after treatment.

Any redness or swelling should resolve within a few hours. Side effects are rare, and may include redness, swelling, hyperpigmentation, hypopigmentation, blistering and purpura (a laser bruise) in the treated area, but these usually do not last more than a few days.

Prevent sun exposure by applying sunblock (SPF 30 or above). In the first few days after treatment, do not scrub or rinse the treated areas with abrasive skin cleansers.

  • Laser treatment pricing is generally based on a few things:

    · The quality of the equipment and the cost being put into its upkeep

    · The skill and experience of the practitioner(s)

    · Quantity vs. Quality business practices
